Like I said it isn't super sweet, although I wouldn't go so far as to call it savory.. but it is definitely more of a breakfast item then dessert.
Here is the finished product, with my pumpkin that I finally found at the store, if you read my blog you know I was having a heck of a time finding a sugar pumpkin.
3-4 ice cubes
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 teaspoon vanilla (actually, a tiny bit less– just a few drops will do!)
1 tablespoon sugar- optional
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- Place all ingredients in blender.
- Blend it until it is smoothie consistency.
- Will make approximately 12 ounces.
