I am not feeling very wordy today.. shocking I know. But here is a poem from devotions this morning..

"I have a heritage of joy
That yet I must not see
The Hand that bled to make it mine
Is keeping it for me.
My heart is resting on His truth
Who hath made all things mine,
Who draws my captive will to Him
And makes it one with Thine!"

Pumpkin Ravioli with Brown Butter and Sage.
recipe credit

Ingredients-
canned/mashed Pumpkin
won ton Wrappers (yep, this is the easy way.. shhhh don't tell)
2 tbls. butter
handful of fresh sage leaves

Directions-
Place won ton wrappers on a bread board or cookie sheet.. any flat surface will work. Dampen the edges with water so that they will stick together. Place 1-2 tbls pumpkin in center of won ton and cover with the second wrapper, pressing to seal them together, start from the middle to remove air. Do as many as you want to eat and place in boiling water until the float to the top. While you are waiting for you water to boil, brown your butter and sage leaves in a skillet. Place ravioli in sage infused butter, cook until lightly, golden brown and serve. These are delicious just like they are but I think they would be AWESOME with some fresh parmesan cheese grated over top.
Hope you are blessed by the poem and enjoy the recipe.
                              Have a wonderful Thursday,
