**I will add a disclaimer here .. when my friend and I made it and took the pictures it was late, we were tired an hyped up on Starbucks. :) So of course some silly, brainlessness occurred. But not to worry I posted the recipe at the bottom. Oh, and at the bottom you will also find my husband's silly take on the whole thing..but I think he lies.
Ok, so this is where you are supposed to cream the sugar and butter together.. well, we forgot.. don't do what we do.. or you can if you want, it all worked out the same in the end. :)

Banana Bread Recipe..
Time: 30-45 min. Until the cake tester comes out clean.
Yield: 2 loaves
2/3 C. Butter
1 1/2 C. Sugar
1 1/2 C.Banana
2 C. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
4 oz. Nuts (optional)
1/2 C. Milk
Vanilla (this was not in the original but I love it so I added some.)
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). With a wooden spoon, mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla. Sprinkle the baking soda, baking powder, nuts, and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix, pour into greased loaf pans or muffin tins. Bake. Then remove from oven and let cool (if you can wait that long..never happens at my house) remove from pan and slice.
My Husbands Version of the Evening..
"As the sun sank down along the Pacific coast, nestled within a small tract of duplicated homes, two ladies embarked on a journey; a baking journey. Electrified by the super caffeinated Starbuck’s buzz graciously provided by me, they set about the task the makings of banana bread. It was not just ANY banana-nut bread, but “Linda’s Banana Bread”, aka “Calvary Chapel’s Banana Bread”. They laid out the necessary ingredients, and thought they would capture this journey in photo. Let me premise this by saying that having a caffeinated buzz while baking guarantees no dull moments.On we go…In MOST bread recipes, and many cookie recipes, there is a step in the mixing process that requires one to “cream together” some of the ingredients. In this case, it was “creaming” together the sugar,banana and butter. From this point forward, this journey was anything BUT ordinary. To start things off, they had realized too late they didn’t “cream” like they were supposed to. They stared blankly into the mixing bowl and watched as the mixture of eggs, flour, butter and sugar swirled around like a carousel. If it was the coffee talking, or the fact that they REALLY wanted to bake, I do not know. At any rate, the further they continued down the baking process, the more they threw caution to the wind and into the face of the baking gods. Have you ever tried to work with a frozen banana on a recipe that calls for AND requires having mashed bananas? Ever wondered if you had put the required amount of sugar into the batter? And after dumping the required measurement, second guessed yourself as you read the recipe, and realize there is no mention of sugar at all in the recipe? In a fit of baking passion, does the vanilla extract bottle closely resemble the rum extract bottle, compelling you to unscrew the cap and “oopsidentally” pour the whole contents into the batter? Ever lick the remaining batter off the slotted spoon, BUT became wary of licking the batter off of the “slots” for fear of getting your tongue caught within a slot? The temperature was set and ready, We poured the mixture into two bread pans and sent them on their merry way into the fiery pit of death, or the oven (as most bakers would refer to it)."
