God is always faithful.
It seems like the last couple days have been very stressful for me.. I have spent a lot of time biting my tongue, growling under my breath, and once or twice my frustration with everything, and or nothing, got the better of me and I said things I shouldn't have. So this morning when I read a devotion by Sally Clarkson, titled Choosing Joy, Choosing to Overcome. The Lord reminded me that I need to get my eyes off of the circumstances in life that can overwhelm, frustrate and depress me and keep my focus on Him. Yes, it is a choice.. we can either choose depression, frustration or we can choose faith in Jesus and the joy of the Lord.
The verse below was made mentioned by someone in the comment section of Sally's devotion..
For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long- suffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance
of the saints in the light.
We can choose faith and joy because we are strengthened with all might according to HIS power, because we have been qualified through Jesus to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
So let's embrace that fact that we are saved and qualified by Grace as we face the trials and obstacles of this day.
Have a blessed day, and don't forget to go check out the devotion linked above. :)
