Proverbs chapter 2 says: My son, if you receive my words and treasure my commands within you so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you willunderstand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints.
This proverb offers us many promises, but only after we diligently seek Him.
“I love them that love Me; and those that seek me early shall find me.” – Proverbs 8:17
It is my prayer that we would all live as Ecclesiastes 1:13 states,
“And I applied my heart to seek and to search out by wisdom all that is done under heaven.”
The Bible is clear, if our focus in on Him and His wisdom,
we will have all that we need…. And so much more!
Let us lift our eyes to Him that He may be our all.
