Now I am all about love and marriage and romance, but being single I have to be careful, because I will start looking at all of those pictures, and people in them and start to feel like something is missing from my life. That some how my life is incomplete, that I am just in a holding pattern waiting for Mr. Right to show up, and none of that is true.
I realized a few years ago that I needed to stop looking at what I DON'T have and start looking around and investing in all the love that I do have in my life, friends, family, and most of all Jesus.
I may never get married, but I KNOW that I will get my Happily Ever After...
Ephesians 2:10 says "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
You and me; we are His masterpiece, and He has great things for us to do in this life.
So let's get going, and embrace the love that we have in our life, look around at all that God has blessed us with, but most of all let's look up because we have a heavenly Father that not only created us, but sent His Son to die in our place so that He can spend eternity with us.
We can't let the enemy distract us from enjoying the life that God has for us, let's not miss our happily ever after.
And married ladies, remember that your Happily Ever After does not rest solely on that wonderful husband of yours' it rests in the hands of Jesus and He has great things for you to accomplish in this life.
Because of Him,
